Casselton Veterinary Service, Inc. is excited to announce the arrival of state-of-the-art Digital X-rays to our veterinary facility.
Just as digital cameras have made photography easier and more efficient by eliminating film, Digital Radiography (DR) systems provide the veterinarian with a radiographic image that can be viewed immediately on a high-resolution monitor without the need for film development. DR systems also offer sophisticated image processing tools, giving the veterinarian much greater depth of information that can be enlarged or manipulated for far better detail, resulting in closer scrutiny of potential areas of concern.
Digital X-rays will better help us, help you. We will now be able to visualize higher quality, detailed images that will help further enhance our diagnosis and treatment of your pet. We especially look forward to offering this advanced technology to our equine clients, in which we will receive the greatest joint detail available state-wide. This is a nice addition for our pre-purchase exams enhancing visualization of congenital osteochondritis dissecans, cyst and arthritic lesions in joints. You will also be able to receive a copy of the images on a CD, which is ideal for farriers to help aid in proper balancing and trimming of the hoof.
